Pricing seems to always be the biggest problem when trying to find karaoke or DJ's for your events. Some entertainment sites do not even offer pricing on their web page. Our pricing is very straight forward and we do not have hidden fees. We go by a half-hour rate. What this means is if we start an hour and only play for 15 minutes it would be charged for half our hourly rate. If we play past 30 minutes in the hour you
will pay the full hourly rate. We DO NOT ask for anything down on an event unless you pay by check and the check must clear before the date of the event. If paying by check we ask for half payment up front and then the rest after the show or event is complete. If you book us for a date we honor that date
and will not cut out on you. If there is a circumstance that is uncontrollable to us we will try and do what we can to help you out. We can not guarantee the pricing will be the same with someone else if we need to be replaced. Our prices are lower compared to other systems. However, we have been in this business for
over 12 years and have never cut out on a booking EVER!!
We have updated out sound and lighting and now offer two different packages, basic sound and lighting and full sound and lighting. Prices for all basic packages are listed below. For full sound and lighting an extra $30.00 charge is added onto the price of services.
Karaoke only:
Rate by hour is $70.00 minimum of 4 hours.
*If time is under 4 hours will add another $30.00/hr for setup fees*
*If you go 5 hours we cut you a deal at $300.00 and $50.00 per hour after 5 hours. (EX: 6 hours would be $350.00)
*** I will consider on a lower price if the bar is a small in size or if the bar is in a small town. This would only be decided once I have met with the owner/manager and I have seen the bar. I am willing to work with smaller bar owners. (Karaoke and drinking establishments only)
DJ Only:
Rate by hour is $110.00 minimum of 4 hours.
*If time is under 4 hours will add another $30.00/hr for setup fees*
*If you go 5 hours we cut you a deal at $500.00 and then $60.00 per hour after 5 hours.

Karaoke & DJ Both:

Update: Because of rising gas prices our transportation fees have changed to help cover the cost of rising gas prices.
If within a 25 mile radius of Ames, Iowa there will be no cost per mile. Every mile over 25 miles from Ames, IA the cost per mile will be $0.50 per mile, if more then 100 Miles from Ames, IA add $75.00 for the first 100 miles and $0.70 for each additional mile over 100 miles or if more then 20 miles from St. Peter, MN add $75.00 for the first 20 miles and $0.60 for each additional mile over 20 miles (only charged to your event not to and from your event!)
If you price at other services you will look at $175.00/hour for DJ only and up to $200/hour for Karaoke and DJ. For 5 hours of just DJ service you are looking at over $850.00. If you do both Karaoke and DJ you are looking into over $1200.00. That is not even adding in transportation costs at competitors pricing!! They say that to do an event they must work 8 additional hours before they even arrive to your event. That may be true but it is not worth being greedy to charge $100+/hr for sitting at home planing for your event. I do all that work for free!!
